Morgan LanderManaging Director & FounderMorgan's passion for protecting the vulnerable is second to none. He has assisted organisations in risk management and prevention of harm for the past 18 years.
Whilst undertaking a bachelor’s degree in applied science (Leisure & Health) through the University of Sydney, Morgan worked in disability, aged care and children's residential facilities including Stewart House and Royal Far West Children's Hospital on Sydney's northern beaches. As a result, he developed a keen interest in human rights, risk management and the essential professional standards that are needed when working with vulnerable clientele. Throughout his eight-year front-line career, he developed and facilitated informative sector learning in a range of risk management areas whilst working with vulnerable clients. This resulted in a transition to the NSW Public Service where he spent a decade helping organisations manage risk via Senior Project Officer roles in the NSW public service including within the NSW Sport & Recreation - Child Protection & Employment Screening Unit, NSW Commission for Children & Young People and the Office of the Children’s Guardian. Morgan is an independent representative on the National Reference Group for Play By The Rules, a role that began in 2006 and has assisted the Australian Sports Commission in child safe risk management, complaint handling and member protection since 2011. He is the preferred facilitator of Member Protection Information Officer training in three states and territories and for various National and State Sporting Organisations. Morgan additionally sits on the board of the Sport Access Foundation. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Leisure & Health) completed at Sydney University and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. |
Laura LanderDirector of OperationsLaura has 17 years of experience working in both front-line service delivery and back-end risk management systems within NSW Government human service agencies and statutory out-of-home care agencies. With extensive experience in child-related, disability and social services sectors, she brings great operational, compliance and systems-based expertise to the Not On my Watch team.
Laura has vast expertise in the development of robust, transparent and efficient information systems to reduce risk, operational risk management tools and strategies. Laura holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice completed at Griffith University. |
Penelope BrowneManager of Residential ProgramsPenelope has been working with vulnerable children for more than 20 years, in both teaching and residential programs throughout Australia. She has extensive experience as a girl's residential coordinator at Stewart House since 2000, making her an invaluable asset to the Not On My Watch residential programs since 2018.
Penni has an extensive range of qualifications, including various specialised first aid, mental health first aid, and cultural competency certificates. Her warm and genuine approach is highly appreciated by our clients when she leads our residential programs. Michelle is a senior partner of Lander & Daniel Legal and has a keen interest in human services and its interaction with the law.
