Morgan LanderManaging Director & FounderMorgan has a strong desire to protect vulnerable people. He has been helping organisations manage risk and prevent harm for 19 years. While pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Leisure & Health) at the University of Sydney, Morgan worked in disability, aged care, and children's residential facilities, including Stewart House and Royal Far West Children's Hospital on Sydney's northern beaches. This experience led him to develop a keen interest in human rights, risk management, and the professional standards required when working with vulnerable clients.
During his time as a frontline worker, he developed and delivered informative sector-specific training in various risk management areas while working with vulnerable clients. This led to him transitioning to the NSW Public Service, where he spent ten years in Senior Project Officer roles, helping organisations manage risk. He worked in key agencies including the NSW Sport & Recreation - Child Protection & Employment Screening Unit, the NSW Commission for Children & Young People, and the Office of the Children’s Guardian. Morgan has been serving as an independent representative on the National Reference Group for Play By The Rules since 2006. He additionally has been assisting the Commonwealth Government in managing child safety risks, complaint resolution, and member protection since 2011. He is a preferred facilitator for Member Protection Information Officer training in three states and territories and various state sporting organisations. He also consults with National and State Sporting Organisations in this capacity. Morgan is a board member of the Sport Access Foundation and sits on the Touch Football NSW independent tribunal. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Leisure & Health) completed at the University of Sydney and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. |
Laura LanderDirector of OperationsLaura is a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in NSW Government human service agencies and statutory out-of-home care agencies. She has worked in both front-line service delivery and back-end risk management systems. With extensive knowledge of child-related, disability and social services sectors, Laura brings excellent operational, compliance, and systems-based expertise to the Not On my Watch team. Her expertise lies in developing durable, transparent, and proficient information systems that reduce risk, operational risk management tools, and strategies.

Penelope BrowneManager of Residential ProgramsPenelope has been working with vulnerable children for more than 20 years, in both teaching and residential programs throughout Australia. She has extensive experience as a girl's residential coordinator at Stewart House from 2000-2022, making her an invaluable asset to the Not On my Watch residential programs since 2018.
Penni has an extensive range of qualifications, including various specialised first aid, mental health first aid, and cultural competency certificates. Her warm and genuine approach is highly appreciated by our clients when leading our residential programs. Chelsea LovettRisk Management SpecialistWith 8 years of experience in the child protection sector and a Master's Degree in Forensic Mental Health from the University of NSW, Chelsea is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional. Chelsea ensures that investigations, risk assessments and recommendations are impartial and thorough, while sensitively managing the experiences of victims. Chelsea's expertise is a valuable asset to the Not On my Watch team, particularly in conducting rigorous risk assessments for cases involving sexual and physical violence reoffending.
Chelsea holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, has completed an honours program thesis, and holds a Master's in Forensic Mental Health. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society. |
